Our hosting solution explained

We own, manage and maintain our own server "farm" for the benefit of our clients. Our equipment consists of a variety of OS X Servers, providing robust web, DNS and mail hosting services.

Each of our web servers is uniquely configured to serve our clients' websites, which all include our inControl content management systems at their core. We are not a "hosting company" per se, in that we host websites only for Digital Frontier-produced websites.

Our inControl architecture is based on the powerful WebDNA family of database server products from Smith Micro Software. WebDNA is the fastest database server on the market today, and explains why our clients' websites perform as well as they do from a raw speed perspective.

Our network connectivity

Our server farm is co-located at Sover.net, Vermont's largest ISP. At Sover.net, we enjoy sustained data transfer rates up to 10 megabits per second. Sover.net provides redundant network connectivity and backup power in the event of a network or power outage.

24-hour monitoring and support

Our clients expect maximum uptime, so we utilize redundant monitoring services to verify the health or our server equipment. In the unlikely event of an outage, a network engineer is on the job 24x7, standing by to correct the problem as quickly as possible.
