Shelburne Town Beach
Located at the end of Beach Road. Facility is accessible to Shelburne Residents and guest by purchasing an annual beach sticker available through the Parks and Recreation Department. Facilities include swimming, boat launch, volleyball, tetherball, playground and bath house. 1.5 Acres.
What are the beach hours?
Lifeguards are on duty at the town beach from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 7 days a week. The park is open from sunrise to sunset. Pass holders may swim AT THEIR OWN RISK when there is no lifeguard on duty.
How much do beach passes cost?
Beach passes are $25 for the first car, $20 for second car and $15 for third car. Passes for senior citizens (60 & older) are free. Beach passes are available at the beach gate daily,11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the beach season. Or at the Parks and Recreation Office 9:00-4:00 Monday thru Friday.
Do guests have to pay? How much?
There is no fee for guests of beach pass holders if they are in the same car as their pass holder. Guests may enter in their own car for a fee of $5.00, as long as they are accompanied by a pass holder. Shelburne residents may purchase a one day pass for $5.00.
Can non-residents purchase beach passes?
No. You must be a Shelburne resident to purchase a season or day pass.
Can I plan a party to be held at the beach?
Yes. Shelburne residents and businesses may use the beach for gatherings. Groups of 20 or more must schedule use through the Parks & Recreation Department.
Do I need to do anything special or pay a fee to have a party at the beach?
Groups must complete a group use form, available at the Parks & Recreation Department. There is no charge for group use by beach pass holders. Non-pass holding guests will be charged $5.00 per car. Shelburne residents will be charged $100.00 for Shelburne business functions of which $50 is a refundable security deposit.
Can school/daycare classes use the beach? Yes. There is no charge for Shelburne school groups or town non-profit groups to use the town beach for picnics/gatherings. Town daycares or camps may purchase a pass for $50.00. All groups entering with children must maintain a one adult to every 5 children ratio.
Can I launch my boat at the beach?
A boat launch is available at the beach for small craft. The launch is located just beyond the swimming area. You must have a beach pass to use the launch. A State of Vermont boat launch is located on Bay Road for non-pass holders and non-residents.

Town Parks
Davis Park
Located off Harbor Road across from Shelburne Community School. Facilities include lighted skating on a portable ice rink system, lighted tennis courts, lighted basketball court, playground and a skate house.
Hullcrest Park Located on Pinehurst Drive in the Hullcrest Development. Facilities include playground, basketball court and portable ice skating rink. 4.1 Acres.
Laplatte Nature Park
Located off Shelburne Falls Road adjacent to the Post Office. Trails are available for walking snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Community Gardens is also located off La Platte Circle. Parking area is available off of La Platte Circle. Please remember that the Post Office parking lot is for Postal Patrons only. 125.6 Acres.
Shelburne Bay Park
Located off the fishing access on Bay Road Located off of Bay Road. One entrance accesses the Bike and Recreation Path open for walking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. The other accesses the boat ramp area managed and Wildlife Department. 104 Acres.
Shelburne Beach Park
