Head: Black dubbing

Fish this fly without floatant on glassy water for a wide arange of hatches. Vary the body colour/size to suit your needs. We fish it mostly for BWO's in either grey or olive.

Step 1

Start with thread at bend of hook and apply grey dubbing toward hook eye stopping 2/3rds of the way.

Step 2

Tie in CDC puff with several secure wraps. Once secure wet your fingers and pull back the cdc to keep it clean and away from the front dubbing. Trim excess by the hook eye.

Step 3

Apply black dubbing to finish off the head area. Whip finish.
